With the retirement of Kris Golomb, Vaca Peña welcomes long-time Vacaville teacher and administrator Janet Dietrich to the top post at the school. Janet comes to Vaca Peña in 2009 from Hemlock Elementary School in Vacaville where she was the principal.

Vaca Peña teacher JoAnne Baker has been named as the school's new assistant principal for the 2009-2010 school year. Former AP Kevin Cullen left Vacaville to take a job in Monterey, CA.
